Selling Tickets from your Box Office or Remote Terminals

The graphical, interactive seating chart quickly displays all available seating, color coded to indicate the status of any seat, such as reserved, sold, allocated to resellers etc.

For quick sales of reserved seats where you don’t want to enter the patron name in your database, hover over any seat to display the base price, click on the seat to select or drag your mouse to create a rectangular box for selecting groups of seats, click the modify button to apply any discounts (child, concession etc), apply any transactions fees, enter the payment method (check, credit card, cash etc)  accept the order and the tickets will (optionally) be printed immediately.

If you wish to enter the name of the ticket purchaser in the database, the procedure is very similar except after selecting the seat, you either select an existing customer name from a drop down customer name box or enter the new customer details.

You can also accept reservations. In this case the procedure is basically the same but instead of payment details being entered and the tickets immediately printed, when you accept the booking, a reservation number is generated which you quote to the customer. The customer can choose to pay immediately or you can set a date when the tickets must be paid for in full otherwise they will be returned to the system for resale.

For an even quicker ticket sale using the “Best Available” method, for Box Office use for example, click on the Quick Ticket button, select a Section, enter the number of seats required, enter the discount level to be applied if applicable, go to Basket, enter the payment method, hit Accept and the order is processed and tickets immediately printed.

Tabs at the right of the window allow you to quickly see detailed information about tickets already sold to customers or allocated to resellers. Clicking on the Clients tab displays a full list of customers who have purchased tickets, and clicking on any customer name in this list displays all the tickets that the customer has purchased to the specific performance, on the Seating Chart.
