Venue (Organization) Maintenance
Main
Venue (Organization) window allows you to enter details about your organisation, enter settings to enable you to send e-mails to your patrons, set default printing options, set default months and days before the event that when events will be displayed on the Internet or tickets available for sale etc.
From the main menu bar, select Maintenance > Venue
If some data has already been entered, the New button will not be available. If so, then click on the Modify button. The Main data entry window appears.

In the Venue name field, enter either the name of your organisation or the common name of the principal venue where the events are held. In the example above, Melbourne Performing Arts Centre is the overall name of the arts precinct which houses a number of theatres and concert hall.
Enter the state or country, the city and street address of this venue in the appropriate fields
In the Release reservations field, enter the default number of hours prior to the any event that you want ticket reservations that have been made but not paid for in full to be returned to the system and made available for sale. (You can override this default setting when setting up the details of individual events)
In the Delay event auto close by field enter the number of hours after the commencement of an event that you allow ticket sales to continue. By default, an event is closed for sale of tickets at the time shown as the commencement of the event.
If your company or organisation operates a number of different venues at different locations, enter your company name in the Organization field.
Enter the Billing address of your company or organisation including street address and city but do NOT enter the Zipcode/Postcode as you will enter this in later field.
Enter your Bank account into the next two fields (these are optional fields).
In the Web Address field enter your organization’s web address. This web address will be (optionally) printed on tickets.
Enter Service ID if applicable
Enter Tax ID /EIN ABN The Tax ID you enter here can be (optionally) be printed on tickets.
In Installment deadline field, enter the default date on which customers must pay for reserved tickets or they will be returned to the system for resale. (You can override this default setting when setting up the details of individual events)
In Close consignment by field, enter the default day and time that any tickets issued to resellers on consignment must be returned to the venue, failing which they will be recorded as sold to the reseller.
In E-mail field, enter the email address you want to be (optionally) printed on tickets, receipts etc.
In Zip code field, enter your Zip code or Postcode Zip code which will be (optionally) printed on tickets, receipts etc.
In Phone – admin field enter you main phone number which can be (optionally) printed on tickets
In Phone – orders field enter the phone number that customers call to purchase tickets which can be (optionally) printed on tickets
The Venue Type field can be ignored. This is reserved for later development
In Last minute sales field, set the default number of days and hours before the starting time of events that you wish to sell discounted “last minute” tickets (optional). You can override the default last minute setting for any event in Maintenance >Events >Modify > Last Minute |
