HandyTix is a web based ticketing system. So the main database and program files are located on our servers (although we also offer an in-house hosted option).
To access and operate the program, you just need to save a few files on your computer.
The system uses its own web interface... it runs independently of browsers such as Internet Explorer or Firefox to minimize accidental shut downs and incompatibility issues.
Basically all you need to use HandyTix is a PC, a high speed internet connection, a web site, a ticket printer and a means of accepting payments.
It's your choice. With our fully hosted option, just log in to your database, set up or modify your events, set your pricing, your discounts, your seasons etc. and sell tickets. Alternatively, with our in-house option, you can host the ticketing system on your own servers.
Selling reserved seating? Just send us a copy of your seating chart and we'll re-build the chart to match your venue and install it in the system. For general admission events, no chart is required.
Just send the HTML of a web page we can use as a template and we'll do the rest. And not some generic page with limited ability to change the layout, colors, text, banners etc., but an actual clone of your webpage with all graphics, links etc. So your patrons enjoy a seamless link to your ticketing page. Just place a "Buy tickets here" button to link to the ticketing page and your online ticketing is open for business 24/7.
All ticket revenue goes straight to your account. We don't hang onto your money for days or weeks after an event. It's your choice what payment gateway/merchant account (or PayPal) you want to use. And your patrons won't worry over transactions in odd names appearing on their card statement.
Forget frustrating software installation or instructions designed for geeks. Our hosted system includes all you need – just a few files to save to your computer - or even a USB flash memory stick.
Log into the web interface with user name and password and you'll see familiar Windows style drop down menus. You have total control in setting up and modifying events, choosing when to display events online, selling tickets and much more.
Discounts and subscriptions are a great way of building loyal patrons. You can set up both season subscriptions (a set of predefined events) or season packages (free choice from a group of events). With discount cards, you can set a range of attributes .... discount levels, validity period, permitted programs and maximum use. Want to reward your sponsors? Give them a stored value gift card printed with your personalized message.
You're not restricted to just adding a line or two of text, changing the font or adding a single logo, but you can customize every aspect of your tickets… add logos, images, graphics, borders, shapes and move them around at will. Modify font sizes, formats and colors. Design whatever size ticket you want… from full-page PDF to single thermal printer tickets. And you're not restricted to printing with specialist thermal printers. You can print with standard laser or ink jet printers or even a low-cost Dymo LabelWriter.
Anyone with a computer and access to the internet can sell tickets, set up and modify programs. Just save the program access files to your hard drive (or to a USB stick if you wish) and simply log in via the web interface. Access your database from home, your office, or whilst on holidays if you're so inclined. And there's no limit on the number of users.
Expand your sales by appointing agents or resellers. Either allocate tickets or give your resellers restricted log in rights where they can take credit card bookings and even print tickets. And the system automatically takes care of all commissions or discounts granted to your resellers.
Just or call the number shown our contact page.
Anyway… last night was our first show using the HandyTix system, and all-in-all it went stupendously!!! I’m glad we found you. You are very nice to work with.
In the UK, other ticketing software was very expensive - for us HandyTix is perfect. The customer service is second to none.
