In house hosting

As well as our fully hosted service, you also have the option of hosting the customer and ticketing database on your own servers. We install all the ticketing software, Apache webserver, php etc. remotely once your PC is available is available for remote access.

The basic requirements for in-house hosting are:

• Dedicated internet access with fixed IP address accessible from outside of the internet
• Dedicated machine with no other programs running that are not ticketing related
• MS SQL server

The recommended configuration depends on your daily transaction volume and the seating chart size.

Small size: (50-200 seat auditorium / or under 10,000 tickets per year)

Minimum Windows XP Professional (or Windows Server 2003 or 2008)
MS SQL server Express Edition

Mid size:  (200-5,000 seat auditorium / or 10,000 – 100,000 tickets per year )

Windows Server 2003 or 2008
MS SQL server Standard Edition

Large size: (5,000- 100,000 seat auditorium  / or above 100,000 tickets per year)

Windows Server 2003 or 2008
MS SQL server Standard edition 

Hardware:

• DELL server with 4 GB memory (minimum)
• For high traffic applications, higher speed processors should be considered, but a standard dual processor is satisfactory in most cases
• Hard drives should be at least 2 x 300 Gb in mirrored RAID1 configuration
